My name is Corey Creed and I’m a two time ‘X-Games’ Gold Medalist riding 500km over 3 days while in quarantine to raise money for the Animal Welfare League QLD.
For the past 60 years Animal Welfare League Queensland has been embracing a brighter future for animals in need. To think of animals facing an uncertain future, their loneliness and fear – this is their motivation.
Their goals are ambitious – they don’t turn away animals who are suffering; they don’t euthanise animals because they are old or require treatment.
The Global Awakening would like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the this land where we reside, the Yugambeh / Kombumerri people. We pay respect to their elders past and present for their wisdom, teaching and cultural knowledge.
