Diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 34 years of age, mother of 3, Claire Symons is determined to pay it forward and support national Breast Cancer charity So Brave.
Nearly 2 years on since diagnosis and after a hell of a journey, that time to pay it forward is now.
Together with the wonderful crew at Aardvark Adventures in Hobart, Claire has created the challenge SO AARDVARKING BRAVE FOR SO BRAVE, the Kunanyi Abseil Challenge.
Claire hopes that by sharing her story and raising money and awareness for this wonderful charity that she can help support the women that come after her.
“Apart from having a cancer diagnosis, what else would you need to be So Brave to do? We thought about heights and decided that an abseil challenge would put a lot of people out of their comfort zone.”
Claire is calling out for participants to join and support her in this fundraising mission which she hopes will also spark some beautiful organic conversations with partners, parents, children, colleagues and friends.
Join Claire, Aardvark Adventures, and the So Brave team on 9th April as they abseil beautiful Mount Wellington, conquering their fears and raising much needed funds for So Brave.
